Maria is a classical vocalist and pianist of Indonesian descent. She developed her passion of classical music while growing up in Singapore, where she lived for the majority of her childhood. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in music with a classical singing major from Lasalle College of the Arts in 2023.


She was asked to sing in the renowned Carnegie Hall after placing second in the 2018 American Protégé International Vocal Competition. Maria also took part in the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music's Singapore Performers' Festival 2018, where she won the Gold Award in the Solo Voice category. 
 

She has participated in master classes taught by Professors Marion Eckstein, Michele Crider, Barbara Bonney, and Finnuala McCarthy in Germany and Austria.

Maria used to be a member of the Seira Vocal Ensemble and the Singapore Symphony Youth Choir (SSYC). Her appearances with SSYC include the 2016 Esplanade Cool Classics event at the Esplanade Concourse, where she performed as a soloist in the Christmas concert with the Singapore Symphony Youth Choir (SSYC).
At the moment, Maria sings in the Schola Cantorum Singapore (SCS) choir.

 

She is currently sharing her love of music with as many people as she can, especially children, by giving private piano and singing lessons in both her home studio and in the homes of her students.
